On Coronation Day, which falls on May 4th, His Majesty the King presides over the Royal Coronation Ceremony at the Baisal Daksin Throne Hall. The ceremony includes the pouring of sacred water at the Ubosot Throne Hall, the receiving of royal regalia, the royal utensils, the Royal Nine-Tiered Umbrella, and the Royal Fanfare at the Phuttan Kanchanasinghat Throne, as well as offering alms to monks at the Amarindra Vinichai Throne.
On May 5th, the auspicious ceremony to inscribe the Royal Golden Plaque of His Majesty's official title, the Royal Seal of His Majesty's Royal Cypher, and the Royal Garuda Emblem are conducted at various temples, including the Wat Bowonniwet Vihara, Wat Ratchabophit Sathit Maha Simaram, and Wat Phra Chetuphon Wimonmangkhlaram Ratchaworamahawihan.
On May 6th, His Majesty the King proceeds to the balcony of Suddhaisavarya Prasad Hall at the Grand Palace, where he allows the people to pay homage and receive his blessings. He also receives well-wishes from foreign diplomats and ambassadors at the Chakri Maha Prasat Throne Hall.
พระราชพิธีฉัตรมงคลในรัชกาลปัจจุบัน
ในรัชกาลปัจจุบัน พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวทรงพระกรุณาโปรดเกล้าฯ ให้จัดงาน 3 วัน นั่นคือ
- วันฉัตรมงคล ตรงกับวันที่ 4 พฤษภาคม พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวทรงประกอบพระราชพิธีบรมราชาภิเษก ประกอบด้วย สรงพระมุรธาภิเษก ณ ชาลาพระที่นั่งจักรพรรดิพิมาน ทรงรับน้ำอภิเษก ณ พระที่นั่งอัฐทิศอุทุมพรราชอาสน์ ทรงรับเครื่องราชกกุธภัณฑ์ ขัตติยราชวราภรณ์ และพระแสง ณ พระที่นั่งภัทรบิฐ เลี้ยงพระ พระสงฆ์ดับเทียนชัย ณ พระที่นั่งอมรินทรวินิจฉัย
- วันที่ 5 พฤษภาคม เป็นพระราชพิธีเฉลิมพระปรมาภิไธย พระนามาภิไธย สถาปนาพระฐานันดรศักดิ์พระบรมวงศ์ และเสด็จพระราชดำเนินเลียบพระนครโดยขบวนพยุหยาตราสถลมารค จากพระที่นั่งอาภรณ์ภิโมกข์ปราสาท วัดบวรนิเวศวิหาร วัดราชบพิธสถิตมหาสีมาราม และวัดพระเชตุพนวิมลมังคลาราม
- วันที่ 6 พฤษภาคม พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวเสด็จออก ณ สีหบัญชร พระที่นั่งสุทไธสวรรยปราสาท ให้ประชาชนเฝ้าฯ ถวายพระพรชัยมงคล เสด็จออกให้ทูตานุทูตและกงสุลต่างประเทศเฝ้าฯ ถวายพระพรชัยมงคล ณ พระที่นั่งจักรีมหาปราสาท
Activities to be observed on Coronation Day include decorating with the national flag at homes and government buildings, participating in almsgiving and religious ceremonies to offer merits, paying respects to His Majesty with gestures of reverence, and jointly expressing good wishes, along with reciting auspicious blessings for His Majesty's health, prosperity, and longevity. These acts are perpetual offerings of goodwill to the King and instruments for the enduring prosperity of the Thai people.
